الوصف الوظيفي Position Objective: Shift Supervisors are responsible to achieve the daily production target yield and quality adhering to the production plan and ensure that the target dispatch is met within his shift. He is responsible for safe operation for the men and machinery and the properties in his shift. He will execute the planned activities and ensures the KPIs are achieved during operations. Main Responsibilities: Monitor the process parameters from batch plant to cold end to ensure that the target yield is achieved with proper quality parameters. He is authorized to modify the process parameters to remain in quality spec and authorized to crush the glass in case the parameters are not within the specification. Analyze the losses and take corrective actions in his shift. Provide feedback to the functional heads on any deviations in process and initiate corrective action. Ensure the implementation of OME Program among the team members based on OME Master plan. Responsible for the allocation of resources for operations and responsible to decide on the priorities of operations in his shift. Responsible for ensuring health and safety standards of the employees and contractors in his shift. Responsible to ensure that all non-routine jobs being carried out in his shift are having a permit. All the other jobs are being carried out as per the permit to work procedure of the company. Ensures that the jobs under work permit are monitored by area team leaders and are closed in his shift. Take rounds in the plant and report any unsafe act or conditions to the area owner, safety department and the Plant Director. He is authorized to stop any activity being carried out in unsafe manner and issue safety violation ticket to the concerned personnel. Responsible to handle any discipline issues, grievances issue at the first stage of process and give feedback to concerned departments. Responsible to conduct first level incident investigation and ensure that the report is factual and accurate. Defines priorities in the event of incidents and breakdowns. Responsible for communication between the shift crew and the functional team for any issues during the shift hours. Responsible to ensure that a proper shift handover is carried out in all areas of the plant during the beginning and the end of his shift. This includes and not limited to Safety issues, work permits, yield, quality parameters, production plan, warehouse and shipping plan, any process changes and any special jobs in the plant. Responsible for the emergency preparedness for his team with the help of Safety department by conducting mock drill, evacuation drill and firefighting trainings. Responsible for reporting any non-conformity of the product and process and execution of the disposal action plan of the same. Responsible to ensure a safe warehouse and shipping operation. Ensures that loading priorities are followed, productivity of the people is optimum during loading. Responsible to motivate his team through reward, recognition, performance feedback and participation in various initiatives like company annual day, safety performer of the month, OME improvement teams, suggestion schemes, 5S awards, cost reduction initiatives. Also, responsible to follow up on the skill matrix of the team members, ensure the target skill is achieved through training and the members are recognized in the company. Perform tasks as directed by immediate superior or management. المهارات Knowledge of the Risks Associated with Batch plant, Furnace, Tin bath, Cold end and Warehouse shipping operations. Knowledge of Health & Safety standards, work permits, PPE, incident investigation and 5S. Knowledge of Key Performance Indicators, operation process parameters and process control in continuous process plant. Knowledge of the utilities, electricity and back up fuel system. Knowledge of non-conformity in product & process, Quality system & requirements, work instructions and Emergency handling procedures. Knowledge of Quality tools like run chart, pareto, root cause analysis and 5 Why method of problem solving. Basic knowledge of Instrumentation and DCS. Knowledge of production plan follow up, optimization, quality specifications and loose glass handling and storage. Knowledge of Performance control system, feedback session and follow up on the training plan for his team. Knowledge of OME program and participation of at least in two improvement teams in a year. Knowledge of ERP, OPMS, ORACLE, NCR recording system.
