Job Description : He is accountable for the upkeep and proper functionality of all electrical equipment and systems. He performs necessary switch-overs in electrical units. Duties: Ensuring the proper functioning of all electrical units. Ensuring scheduled checks for spotting any malfunctions. Complying with all safety norms and regulations of working. Appropriately using and handling of electrical testing and repair equipment. Keeping a log of electrical repair and maintenance works. Coordinating work functions with co-workers and other departments. Preparation of electrical equipment for switching on, performance of necessary switch-overs in electrical units, control over operating and process parameters. Detection and troubleshooting of malfunctions related to emergency shutdowns of electrical equipment. Maintenance of operated sites and work places in accordance with electrical and HSE requirements. Keeping Electrical Supervisor informed of progress. Experiences / Skills : Secondary technical education with 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry and minimum 2 years as Electrical Technician in Gas Turbine Power Plant or similar project. Good English knowledge. Ability to identify technical malfunctions in electrical units. Good knowledge about handling and using electrical repair tools and equipment. Ability to effectively manage time and coordinate work functions with co-workers. Ability to learn how to effectively use maintenance software to input data and research parts.
